NSW Office of Fair Trading have now released an updated guidelines to clarify what defines underquoting and how it can be avoided.
It is important for all members of the group to become familiar with the new/updated guidelines to ensure both protection from prosecution and to ensure we provide proper representation to consumers, both prospective buyers & vendors.
We recommend that you download the guidelines and read thoroughly, and then organise to have a office/sales meeting to discuss your understanding to ensure all of your team is on the same page on how to represent properties without a price, both auction & private treaty.
